Happy Monday, friends! Saturday’s wedding was absolutely beautiful… it was bright & fun with the perfect mixture of J Crew prep and classic elegance.
I am BEYOND thankful for my two amazing assistants: Amy & Bekkah. I realized that with having all the florals and the day-of planning and the decor styling, I needed a few more hands on deck. These two stepped up and helped me and I’m SO grateful!! Amy designed the beautiful calligraphy signs AND stayed to help me for 11 hours. She rocks, y’all! So excited to be working with her a few more times this year AND next:)
It was the first DSE wedding that Matt didn’t come to and I’m not gonna lie, I missed having him around!! It’s nice to be able to spend your weekends with your best friend while also making Wedding Day happen:) But I think Matt’s going to have a lot more weekends off this year because SO MANY of you emailed about helping me out on wedding day! I LOVE seeing so many women interested in the wedding industry and would love to be able to help you in any way I can.
It’s another busy week for DSE as I get ready to take a few days off to head to West Virginia with my family and prep for Katie’s workshop shoot. Stay tuned for a few sneak peeks about the shoot we’re dreaming up… it’s going to be killer, y’all!
