Saturday was absolutely perfect. Gorgeous weather, a beautiful couple & the most picture-perfect details!!!

I pride myself on getting to know my brides very, very well. I want to know their love story, their favorite color, their biggest stressor & most anticipated moment for Wedding Day. I need to be able to make Wedding Day decisions based on who they are as a couple & what the bride wants, so getting personal and intimate with them during the planning process is a must. Kate and I became such good friends during her planning process!!! It was a dream for me. I LOVED her excitement over the details, and how much our personalities meshed!!!

Burlap, lace & cowboy boots have become really popular in the last few years; and to be honest, a big pet peeve I have is when brides want an idea or detail for their wedding because it’s the “in” thing to do, and not because it’s the two of them. Kate & Jimmy are the PERFECT “burlap, lace & cowboy boots” couple. It is SO them!!! Every country detail – from the homemade jam favors to the mason jar place cards to the log table numbers Jimmy cut himself – fit who they are as a couple and how their family & friends see them.

I’m so happy her wedding came together as perfectly as it did!! I won’t lie, I was nervous leading up to it since there were SO many details & logistics falling into place!! (And that pergola design gave me nightmares for weeks!!). But my two assistants rocked it & I’m SO grateful for them!!!
