Happy Birthday, Matt!

Today’s post is strictly person – but it’s this sweet guy’s birthday so he deserves a blog post all to himself!!!:)

I am so grateful for him & for all the different ways he serves me. He’s so relaxed – never really asks for anything and he doesn’t sweat the small stuff. He’s my calm safe haven – always bringing me down to earth when I’m freaking out and don’t think I can do it. He reminds me that it’s all in God’s plan, and reminds me that I won’t always do everything perfectly… and that’s okay!!:)

We have some of the SILLIEST inside jokes (but they really are the funniest ones!)! He love The Office, Impractical Jokers and Fresh Prince of Bel Air. He could eat donuts at every meal and drinks SO MUCH water (it’s crazy, y’all!!)! Knox ADORES him and loves to wrestle & cuddle. He’s the best doggy-daddy in the whole world:)

He hates receiving gifts because he doesn’t like to spend money… Gift giving is the way I like to GIVE love, so this one is always hard for me:) But this year, I’m so excited to spoil him a bit and remind him how awesome he is!

I’m so excited to spend tonight & tomorrow doing whatever he wants to do – enjoying mexican food, stuffed crust pizza & taking a trip to the shooting range… you know, “guy” stuff:)

Happy, happy birthday husband. I’m so glad I met you when I was 18 years old & can’t wait to grow old together and Lord willing, celebrate you turning 95:)
