This has been an incredible week… a truly life changing week. Attending Making Things Happen was an amazing way to end the month of March and start the month of April… I do plan to dig a bit deeper into what I learned at MTH, but not in this blog post. I need a bit more time to process through & find just the right words to explain the good it did for my heart.
On another note, it’s this hallway AMAZING?! I was completely in love with the décor at The Carolina Inn… I loved the bold black & white floors paired with bright patterns & textured!
I love that MTH ended on the 1st of the month because for me, it was a beautiful way to start fresh. It’s so great to be able to come home and set April goals for myself after such a heart-changing experience. (You can recap my March goals here.)
APRIL GOALS
1. Launch the rebrand!!!! AHHHHH!
2. Develop DSE office hours. This has so much to do with what I learned at MTH. I need to have boundaries in my life in order to have balance; so even though I can’t say “M-F 9-4”, I CAN make weekly decision on when & how much I will work.
3. Finish Organizing/Setting Up the DSE Office. It’s so close to being done!
4. Cook one meal a week for Matt. A simple, realistic and oh-so-necessary goal for me (& him!).
5. Encourage one woman a week. A simple note, a sweet text… Building Community is so heavy on my heart right now. And, by the simple act of KINDNESS, I can reach out and lift up one woman a week.
(AND – The Contentment Challenge ended yesterday (!!!!!) … Can you believe it’s been 3 Months?!?! A 3 month Recap will hit the blog tomorrow!)
