Is it really already noon?? This morning is FLYING by!!! I had a 3 day weekend from my full-time job, and I ended up not doing a lot for DSE either… which was SO relaxing & wonderful, but now I have an extra long to-do list for the week:)
Friday was “clean-and-organize-the-house-day”. I washed sheets, cleaned bathrooms, vacuumed & de-clutter the craziness that had become my office. The day was so busy, but I felt really accomplished when I sat down for dinner that night!
On Saturday 3 of my close college friends & my parent’s came to town. We drove to Afton Mountain to visit a few wineries & enjoy a picnic lunch. It was the BEST way to spend the day!!!
AND, Matt and I bought an SUV last week!!! It’s not brand new.. but it’s “new” to us & we’re so excited! We (I mean, he!) has been looking for a bigger, 4-wheel-drive vehicle for the last few months. Toyota’s are great vehicles & we both fell in love with the Sequoia. The Tan Man is the perfect addition to our family… I see a lot of weddings in his future:)
We spent Easter morning worshipping at our church, then grabbing lunch with my parents. That afternoon was full of a wonderful nap, steaks on the grill & watching The Hobbit … I couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing day.
