September. What? WHERE did you come from?!

I can’t believe in just a few weeks we’ll have leaves-changing, scarf-wearing, pumpkin-eating, crisp-air weather!!! This summer in VA have been uncharacteristically cool… which makes me hope (and pray!) that our fall & winter aren’t horrible!! Guess we’ll find out:)

Last month I took a break from blogging my monthly to-dos, and it refreshing. I needed that! But this month we’re back with 5 monthly goals that I can’t wait to start fulfilling:)

– Organize My Pinterest Profile. Have you ever looked at your boards & felt really, really overwhelmed?! There’s SO MUCH going on. Too many pins, too many ideas, too many boards with over 300 things on them. Ah! I can’t handle it. Pinterest is an amazing tool… when used properly. I’m about to start slaying some pins, y’all!!

– Start the Cheerleading Season Off Great!! Did you know I’m a cheerleading coach?! I can’t remember if I’ve ever mentioned it on the blog before! I coach at the college I graduated from & we have our first football game next weekend. There’s just something about a college football game that never gets old:) The squad has been working hard to prepare, and I can’t wait to see their hard work pay off!

– Back Up my MacBook Air. I’ve been getting the “storage is almost full” message for over a month!!! I need to sit down & transfer things to my external hard-drive & delete what isn’t necessary. It’s such a tedious task, but I need to get it done.

– Celebrate DSE Turning One!! October 1st is the big day, friends!! So happy to be putting together a fun celebration on the blog, and a little something for my favorite vendors!!:)

–Stay Focused & Energized! I’ve got 6 more weddings for 2014 and 5 shoots… plus a big project in the works!!! It’s SO easy to get overwhelmed and I’m not going to lie, some days I think there is NO way I can do it all. But then I see a happy bride, or a shoot gracing the pages of one of my favorite blogs and I remember WHY I do what I do!! So stay energized, friends!! We’ve got this:)
