If the word visibility makes you cringe a little, you’re not alone!
Maybe you’ve felt the pressure to show up online every single day, crank out reels, write long captions, and basically run your business like a full-time content creator.
Here’s the thing: visibility doesn’t have to look like that!
In fact, when I first launched KS Agency —I had no Instagram, no email list, and no “viral” strategy. What I did have? Conversations. Referrals. A clear offer. And a willingness to pitch myself directly.
And it worked.
We crossed six figures before launching a single Instagram post.
Visibility wasn’t loud. It was intentional.
So what is visibility, really?
Visibility means people know you exist. They know who you are, what you do, and how you can help them.
It’s not about being famous or showing up everywhere at once.
It’s about showing up in the right places for the right people!
That could look like:
- Hosting a live workshop
- Sending thoughtful emails to your list
- Showing up on podcasts or speaking on stages
- Building referral partnerships behind the scenes
- Or yes, sharing content on social media—but not only that.
3 Questions to Reflect On:
As you reimagine visibility for your business this season, ask yourself:
- What channels actually feel good to you?
Where do you enjoy showing up? Where does your audience naturally connect with you—and where do you feel energized instead of drained? - When do you feel most magnetic or in flow with your audience?
Maybe it’s when you’re writing, teaching live, recording videos, or chatting in DMs. Visibility should lean into your strengths, not feel like a chore. - If social media disappeared tomorrow… how would you get visible?
This isn’t just a fun hypothetical. It’s a strategy question.
What would you lean into instead? Email? Podcast interviews? Strategic partnerships?
These questions aren’t about finding a new platform. They’re about building a sustainable visibility plan that aligns with your personality, your offer, and your long-term goals!
Visibility isn’t about doing everything. It’s about doing the right things—and doing them consistently.
Give yourself permission to rethink visibility.
The goal isn’t to go viral. The goal is to be known by the right people, in the right places, for the right reasons.
Because when people don’t just see your brand—but remember it?
That’s when the magic happens! ✨
