Ah! Friends!!! I did not mean to leave the blog empty last week!! Unfortunately, we do not have internet at the new house yet (oh, Comcast!) so that put a kink in my plans!! However I’m not letting that stop me this week:)

I’m happy to report that our new home is actually starting to look like a home – yay! We’ve got the living room and kitchen completely unpacked, and my office is 60% done! We’ve still got to focus on the guest room, dining room and our bedroom but renovations on our master bathroom and closet begin TODAY – yay!!! I am planning a HUGE before & after post in September of all the home changes!!:)

Last week was not only crazy due to the big move, but I also had some BIG things for DSE!!! Amanda and I hosted the first ever #designedandstyledworkshop and I was blown away by all the sweet attendees!!! Our goal was to create an intimate, hands-on workshop for planners & florists; we talked through design planning, styling, floral pricing, workflow, instagram AND each attendee created a bouquet, centerpiece and pergola. I can’t wait to show off the styled shoot portion of the day!! Amanda and I are planning our second workshop and plan to announce that date soon! Stay tuned for details!:)

Matt and I also had our Coaching Session with Katelyn & Michael; it was a 9 hour day full of SO MUCH goodness!!! It was so great to be able to have Matt involved in the discussion and I can’t wait to share more about our day with them soon!!:) Here’s a sneak peek of one of my favorite anniversary pictures:)

It’s hard to believe August is already here – where did July go?! I’ve got a packed week in the DSE office before I head to Trouvaille on Saturday (yay!) and a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT coming tonight via the newsletter!!! Sign up here to be the first to know!!!:)
