Weekend Wrap-Up: Designed & Styled

I feel like my weekend wrap-ups tend to be a little boring unless I have a wedding or a shoot …This one, however, is pretty awesome!:)

While I didn’t have a shoot or a wedding (and Matt and I spent the weekend finishing our taxes, watching Harry Potter and making homemade pizza), I DID make some amazing plans with my sweet friend Amanda… and I get to share them with you TODAY!!:)

Amanda Veronee was my wedding florist & has since become a friend & mentor. She genuinely cares about seeing others succeed, and I look up to her so much for that!! She is also an INCREDIBLE floral designer — EVERYTHING I know about floral design comes from her:) She listens to me panic-texts and is always there to cheer me on & encourage me!

I am SO EXCITED (and completely & utterly humbled) that we are teaming up to offer a one day workshop at her brand new studio! YAY!!! We are hosting Designed & Styled on July 27 in Stafford, VA. We are focusing on hands-on floral design, hands-on event design and practical teaching on topics like branding, social media, workflow, pricing and client experience. We will also have plenty of intimate Q+A time! AND we are having a fully designed & styled shoot to wrap up our time together!!

We will kick of the experience with a Welcome Dinner on July 26 under the twinkling lights of her backyard! Then we will jump into 11 hours of hands on & practical content on July 27. It’s going to be incredible, friends!! Full of inspiration, community and beautiful blooms… it doesn’t get much better than that!!!:)

Registration opens Wednesday for a special 48 hour early bird rate of $875. Registration includes dinner July 26, breakfast, lunch and snacks July 27, 11 hours of incredible content, open “no question is off limits” time with Amanda & me, beautiful blooms for hands on floral design, and a bit of attendee spoiling along the way:) Head to Amanda’s site to get more details about the workshop!!
