Friends! Happy Monday!
I hope y’all had a beautiful Valentine’s day with your sweetheart or your best girls… and don’t forgot to grab yourself some chocolate now that it’s on sale 🙂
Here’s a few iPhone pics of the beauty that took place on Saturday …
Kimmie of Kimberly Florence Photography reached out to me about a concept she had for a styled shoot a few weeks ago… I was SO excited she brought me in on it, y’all! It’s full of vintage, rustic charm, farm details & the most STUNNING couple you’ve ever seen. The snow storm really threw us for a loop & we weren’t sure we’d be able to make it happen… but we did. And, friends, it’s one of my favorite things I’ve ever done. Not only because it was BEAUTIFUL, but because there was so much HEART behind it. The MORNING OF the shoot we had to change the venue… and we were able to transform the space into EXACTLY what we wanted it to be. We could never have envisioned what we got, because what we got was MORE than what we envisioned. ClichĂ©, but true. We made it happen even though the odds were against us… and I’ve never been more proud or excited to see a shoot come to life. Kimmie rocked it. And I’m honored to have worked with her!!! We’re hoping for a pretty little feature, so I can’t share a ton of images with you right now… but take a peak at this one will ya? Yea. Unbelievable.
I also had the chance to grab dinner with this sweet girl. And I literally left Chili’s with a full tummy AND a full heart!!! When I started DSE I prayed for relationships – relationships with my brides & with vendors. God has blessed me tenfold & I am so honored to have so many friends in this industry!!! Ashley and I had the best dinner sharing stories, dreams & I can’t wait to work with her again in 2014!!
I hope you’re weekend was as full as mine! And, this week is another busy one for DSE! Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing with you my favorite images from the Valentine’s Day shoot I did with Katie Nesbitt for Heart Love Weddings so make sure you check back!!
xo!! kat
