Hello, May!

It’s May Day!!! Woohooo:)

I LOVE the beginning of the month because I LOVE to refresh & restart. Setting goals for every month has been really, really helpful for me this year, too. If you hadn’t already noticed, I’m a huge fan of breaking down something HUGE into smaller, more manageable pieces. It helps me see the light at the end of the tunnel & feel less anxious about my 19302839 to-dos!

Let’s recap the April Goals, shall we?

 …….

APRIL GOALS

1. Launch the rebrand!!!! Ummm. Obviously this did not happen in April… but I’m really, really okay with that. This rebrand has become even better than I imagined, so I’m okay that it’s taking a bit longer than planned.

2. Develop DSE office hours. YES! I struggled with this A LOT, but I’m happy to say I feel a lot more control over my work hours now.

3. Finish Organizing/Setting Up the DSE Office. Yes! It’s done! I’ll try to blog it soon:)

4. Cook one meal a week for Matt. YAY I did it!! I’m honing my house-wife skills and I cooked for him more this month than in the 8 months we’ve been married, ha.

5.  Encourage one woman a week. I’m honestly not sure if it ended up being one-a-week… but I definitely think I’ve been making some really amazing connections this month.

MAY GOALS

1. I have 3 AMAZING weddings this month! My goal is to give my brides the absolute best experience possible and to plan & style my butt off:)

2. Purge my Closet. I HAVE SO MANY CLOTHES. Ugh. I haven’t even brought up my bin of summer clothes yet and honestly, I don’t even think it’ll fit in my closet!! It’s time to GET RID OF IT. If I haven’t worn it in a year, it’s gone. Goodwill is going to be very happy this month.

3. 31 Days of Prayer & 31 Days of Scripture. I decide to read one chapter of the Bible a day: Luke (24 chapters) & Acts (the first 7 chapters); and I’m going to really be focusing on my prayer time. If you’re joining the journey, PLEASE let me know!!! I’d LOVE to encourage you & to pray for you! Leave me a comment with any prayer requests you may have:)

4. Complete the Herbal Cleanse I’m doing. I actually started in April … I’m on Day 4 today so there’s 6 days left. 6 days doesn’t seem like it’s very long… but my cravings are starting to kick in!! (I’m thinking of writing a review once I complete it, so stay tuned!)

5. Continue Rebranding!!! I’m not sure if we’ll launch this month or next, but y’all, IT IS SO GOOD!!!! I’m not kidding. I hope it blows you away:)

…….

Do you have May goals? I’d LOVE to hear!!!
