A Closer Look at the Quarterly Printable Calendar

Last week, I shared all about my 2022 Yearly Calendar (read that here if you missed it!). Today, I want to take a deep dive into my Quarterly Printable calendar. This calendar has a two month view and is a blank slate so you can re-use it every single quarter. It also comes in two sizes (8.5×11” and 24×36”) and in multiple colors (blue, pink, multi-color and black and white). On the quarterly calendar, each month contains a monthly focus, success standard, and “notes & things” sections. Remember, there’s no “right” way to use these calendars, but I’ve found that some of these sections can be used intentionally so I’ve included some of my tips below!

Monthly Focus

Each month features a Monthly Focus to help you align your monthly vision and focus your to-do’s for that month. Your focus could be business or personal – whatever it is, let it guide your planning decisions.

Examples of Monthly Focus:

– A consistent IG + Blog Strategy focused on booking weddings

– Launch a Coaching offering

– (Finally) Complete that Course You’re Taking … hey, we’ve all been there 😉

Success Standard

The Success Standard will help you create a measuring stick for your month. This is SO important and often a forgotten practice when prepping for the quarter. You have to determine what success looks like for you. If you need more help understating this measure, check out my Q3 planning tips

Examples of a Success Standard:

Your success standard should relate to your Monthly Focus. If your Monthly Focus is “Launch a Coaching Offer” then your success standard might be to “Book your first coaching client!”. If your Monthly Focus is “Marketing Your Wedding Services” then your success standard might be “Book 2-4 Wedding Couples”. Think about how you can break down your big focus into actionable items!

“Notes & Things”

“Notes & Things” is a great space for any extra info you want to include on your calendar to keep top of mind. Sometimes I add a brain dump list of ideas that relate to my Monthly Focus. Other times,I include some personal or family calendar related things to remind myself of special events. I want to be able to think and plan clearly without making myself feel overwhelmed during any given month. This space is for you to use in a way that keeps you centered on your Monthly Focus and also keeps things top of mind that need to be! 🙂
