Today’s post is purely for fun:) It has no wedding planning or styling information… but I wanted to mix it up a bit!! I have so many new readers & thought it’d be fun to tell you a few things you might know about me…
1. HOV lanes make me really nervous. It’s true!! I’ve driven to D.C. twice in the last week and guys… I just really hate them!! I never know if I’m ACTUALLY allowed to drive on it, when I need to exit the lane or what a solid line vs. an extra-thick-dashed-line means. I would obviously not do well in a drivers ed course, ha!:)
2. I could live off of popcorn and diet dr. pepper. YES. My two favorite things in the whole world. My lunch can literally by popcorn & ddp & I’m one happy girl!! I like to mix up between simple salt on my 100 calorie popcorn pack vs. garlic pepper. Never tried garlic pepper on your popcorn? DO IT. So good:)
3. I used to want 5-7 children. I know!! That’s a lot of kids!!! To be honest, I always thought that as soon as Matt and I got married I’d want a baby RIGHT AWAY!! (I think my family & friends did, too!) But in fact, quite the opposite has happened!! I DO still want children & can’t WAIT to see who they look like, who’s personality they mimic, etc., but right now Matt and I are loving this time in our life for just us two. AND when we do have kids I think we’re looking at 2-4, not 5-7!:)
4. I grew up in a Dallas Family & married a Redskins fan. If you know football, you know that’s kind of a big deal!! Matt is a DIEHARD Skins fan…. so in my vows I told him “I promise to support every decision you make, even if that means cheering for the Redskins – sorry Dad!!” I’ve committed to that promise by utilizing Redskins décor in our home and wearing Skins apparel, too:)
5. I used to dream of being a professional singer when I grew up. Britney? Christina? Destiny’s Child? I belted my heart out and dreamed of beating them all with my number of records sold!! I still LOVE to sing (and do it pretty frequently in the car!), but I know my time & energy is better spent keeping up with sweet brides vs. auditioning for The Voice!:)

oh britney! haha. we should do a styled shoot in vegas then go see her concert! jussayin’! 😉 HOV lanes scare me too because i’m afraid of getting a ticket by not doing the right thing! haha. if you like popcorn, you should try the “popcorner” chips! oh em gee! kettle and sweet chili are my favorites!! can’t wait for sunday!!!! 🙂
