You have the expertise. You have the ideas. And you have a website… but it doesn’t quite reflect where your business is going.
Sound familiar? 👀
That’s where a strategic website refresh can make such a difference!
Today, we’re taking you behind the scenes of our work with Mary Rando, a hairstylist, coach, and educator who needed her Kajabi website to reflect the next chapter of her business.
As a digital marketing and integration agency, our work at KS Agency goes beyond making websites look beautiful. We help business owners bring their bigger vision to life through strategic branding, websites, digital products, email marketing, and the systems that connect it all.
For Mary, that started with a brand refresh and Kajabi website redesign, but it’s only the beginning!

Meet Mary: Helping Hairstylists Build Their Businesses
With over 20 years of experience behind the chair, Mary Rando knows firsthand that being a talented hairstylist and knowing how to build a profitable business are two very different things.
She’s on a mission to help hairstylists bridge that gap through practical education, coaching, and real-world strategies that help them attract clients, grow their income, and build careers they love.
And as her vision expanded beyond one-on-one coaching into digital products and online courses, she needed a website that could grow with her business!
That’s where KSA came in.
Our goal was to create a cohesive, professional online home that reflected Mary’s expertise, connected with the hairstylists she serves, and made it easy for visitors to explore the resources and offers available to them.
The Goal: Build a Website That Could Grow With Her Business
Mary came to KSA with a bigger vision than a website refresh.
She was ready to turn her real-world expertise into digital education, starting with resources and her signature Six Figure Hairstylist Academy.
But before we could bring those offers to life, we needed to create a cohesive online home that introduced Mary’s expertise, connected with the hairstylists she wanted to reach, and made room for her growing offer suite.
That meant thinking beyond colors and fonts.
We wanted every part of the website to support where her business was headed next.
Before: A Simple Coaching Website

Mary’s original website introduced her coaching and gave visitors a place to learn about her. The design was predominantly white, with charcoal text, long sections of copy, and limited imagery.
As we approached the redesign, we saw an opportunity to give her business a more recognizable visual identity and make her resources easier to explore.
The website needed to reflect Mary’s next chapter as an educator with multiple ways to help hairstylists grow.
After: Strategic Branding for a Beauty Education Business

We started with the branding!
Our team developed a new color palette using a strategic branding approach, with Mary’s ideal client at the center of the decisions. Warm cream, taupe, olive green, and rich chocolate brown gave us a cohesive foundation for the website.

Combined with elegant typography and hairstyling photography, the new direction created a warm, polished presence for her education business.
Here’s how that came together across the page.
A First Impression That Speaks to Hairstylists
The redesigned opening section pairs hairstyling photography with a prominent headline, bringing Mary’s industry and message together right away (written by our PHENOMENAL team of copywriters).
For someone discovering her for the first time, that creates an immediate connection to the work and audience behind the brand.
Content That’s Easier to Explore
We gave the page more variety through image-and-text sections, contrasting backgrounds, and distinct areas for different resources.
Rather than relying on long blocks of text, we reorganized Mary’s homepage into clear sections that introduce her expertise, explain what hairstylists need to grow, and highlight the resources available to help them get started.
Mary’s story still has a place, alongside her expertise and the ways she can help.
Clearer Paths to Her Offers
The redesign gives Mary’s free guide, paid digital resource, Academy, and coaching their own space.
That matters when your business has several entry points! Someone discovering Mary may want a free resource, while another visitor may be ready to explore her education or coaching.
Consistent, branded buttons help make those next steps easier to find.
What Makes a Great Kajabi Website? It’s More Than Pretty Design.
It’s easy to save a collection of beautiful websites and think, “I want mine to look like that!”
But when you’re browsing Kajabi websites examples, look at how each design serves the business behind it:
- Can you quickly tell who the business helps?
- Does the visual identity fit that audience?
- Are the offers easy to understand?
- Can visitors find a relevant next step?
Those questions guided our work with Mary. We wanted her website to reflect her expertise and introduce the educational side of her business with intention.
And her reaction? She was wowed! Mary has been such a joy to work with, and seeing her excitement as we shared the branding and website made this project even more fun.
The Website Is Just the Start of Our Work Together
Here’s what makes this project even more exciting: Mary’s website refresh is just the beginning! 🎉
While we were giving her online home a fresh look, we were also thinking about everything that comes next.
Because Mary isn’t just building a prettier website. She’s building an education business that allows her to take 20+ years of expertise behind the chair and turn it into resources, courses, and coaching that help more hairstylists succeed.
And that’s where our work as an Integrator agency really comes to life!
Here’s what’s on the table as we continue working together:
- Digital products + sales funnels: Creating a customer journey that introduces hairstylists to Mary’s free resources, paid guides, and coaching opportunities.
- Kajabi course creation: Bringing her signature Six Figure Hairstylist Academy to life, from course setup and organization to the systems that support enrollment.
- Email marketing + automations: Building the sequences that deliver resources, nurture subscribers, and help hairstylists discover their next step.
- Launch strategy + marketing: Planning how Mary will introduce her educational offers, build excitement, and start generating sales.
And as her education business grows? There’s room for even more, including group coaching and private mentorship opportunities.
The goal is to build more than a website. It’s to create an intentional customer journey that supports Mary’s business now and gives her room to grow.
That’s what we love about being an Integrator agency.
Mary gets to focus on what she does best: sharing her expertise and helping hairstylists build businesses they love.
Meanwhile, our team helps bring the vision to life through strategy, copywriting, design, Kajabi implementation, and the systems that connect it all.
You dream it. We do it.
