It’s another middle-of-the-week ‘weekend wrap-up’ post, but I can’t help it!! We got back VERY late on Sunday and I’ve been playing catch-up the last 2 days! PLUS this week is my best friend’s wedding week (AH!!) and Matt and I have some BIG news to share about our house (coming soon!)!
But let’s get back to the sandy beaches of St Thomas…:)
We had such an INCREDIBLE trip to St Thomas, y’all!! We decided to arrive 2 days before wedding day, and leave 2 days after. That gave me time to see the resort, meet with staff, be available to the bride and also get some relaxing beach time in!:) We definitely spent time laying on the beach, and we also went snorkeling and kayaking! I even had time to read a book!!:)
The food was AMAZING and I think I’m STILL full!!! We ate so much seafood, had delicious drinks and even watched a few live bands at the restaurant! I also loved having the opportunity to work with The Photography Smiths! These two are so great at what they do!!! This wedding day was a bit unconventional for me (I’ll blog more about coordinating a destination wedding soon!), but I’m so happy they could be there and I know Laura and Nick are going to be THRILLED with the images!!! (They even did a trash-the-dress session as sunrise!!!!!)
We spent the majority of our time on St Thomas, but we did take a very to St John for part of the day on Saturday. We walked around the shops and went snorkeling at Trunk Bay (it’s incredible!)! For the rehearsal dinner, we were all invited to enjoy a sunset catamaran around the island. It was so much fun to get to see more of the island and laugh on a boat with the wedding party!!
I took too many iPhone pictures, so enjoy yourself:)
While I was away, my amazing team brought The Allison wedding to life! I can’t tell you how sad I was to miss Ally’s day, but I am SO happy for her and from the looks of it, her day was truly stunning!!!! 2 of my staff were there to rock it out & I am SO grateful for them!!! Here’s a peek from Jess Crews Photography🙂
Tomorrow will be Part 2 of “How I grew my business while working full-time”. I have been BLOWN AWAY by your comments, emails and genuine support of this post series and can’t wait to share tomorrow’s post! I have some more posts on the blog calendar for the #ontheroadtofulltime series and I think you’re going to love them:)
Happy Hump Day, friends!!
