Hey friends:)

This weekend was FULL of Christmas-festivities, really warm weather & some much needed relaxation.

1. Friday night, Matt and I decided to have our own Christmas for Two. We ordered chinese food, opened our gifts & watched Elf. It was so much fun & I’m so excited that we are starting our own Christmas traditions.

2. Guess what? I (we) have a new camera!!! Matt found an amazing deal on Amazon and surprised me with the camera we’ve been looking at for a few weeks. It’s so new & shiny & I’m having so much fun playing with it. Nope, I’m not planning to add wedding photography to my packages:), but I AM glad we have more than just our iPhone’s to document our life. And, now the pictures in my blog posts won’t look so bad (I hope, ha!).

3. Saturday we spent the day with Matt’s extending family. We drove to Luray, ate way too much, looked at the cows & sung the 12 Days Of Christmas (Matt’s pretty great at #5 :)). It was so great to be able to get together with aunts, uncles, cousins and even second cousins!!

 

On a business-related note: this week, I’m taking a break from DSE emails and other work-related-things so that I can really soak up this time with our families. I do have a few blog posts pre-blogged and ready to go, so check back when you can for a few posts after Christmas … writing a post is way more fun to do when you’re sitting by a Christmas tree:).

And, for all of you that have emailed/Facebook messaged/blog-commented about the #ContentmentChallenge… thank you. I was truly humbled by all of your support and am SO excited to start this journey Jan 1. If you missed that post, check it out here.
