10.5 inches – what?!?
I heard that there was a winter weather advisory (or warning… I can never remember which is worse!), but it never really registered in my head! I guess I just figured it would pass by or we’d get a few inches and be done with it.
10.5 inches later, I’m a believer!! What a crazy way to end February!!!
To be honest, having Saturday as a “snow day” was pretty spectacular. With working full time & having a full lineup of spring weddings, I feel like I never get everything checked of my to-do list!! Saturday I cuddled up in bed with my laptop and got a few things done I’d been trying to finish up all week; then Matt wanted to test out Tan Man’s 4 wheel drive so we drove around for 45 min. looking for the perfect parking lot to try out donuts. I loved seeing his inner-child come out when we swirled around the parking lot skidding on ice & snow:)
Saturday night, he made homemade chicken nuggets (the BEST, y’all! They rival Chicfila!), and we watching the first two Harry Potter movies. I’d say our snow day was a complete success & a fun way to close out the month!:)
Yesterday I left the house in the afternoon and headed up to Annapolis where I’ll be until tomorrow! I’m spending #2dayswithintrigue learning hands-on floral design with new friends! Annapolis is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to visit and I’m excited to recap this little adventure on Friday:)
