Happy Monday, friends!
It’s actually a bit warmer today… I think the high is in the upper 30’s! It’s crazy to think that THAT temperature is “warm” for me now, right?! As much as I enjoy experiencing all 4 seasons, and definitely love seeing snow in the winter… I am NOT cut out for Alaska-like temperatures. Bitterly cold is never my favorite. Ever.
Anyway, this weekend was BUSY! It was SO MUCH FUN, but I was going-going the whole time. Right now, that’s the one thing that makes working 40 hours a week AND working DSE really hard. I feel as if I work 7 days a week, with no real “break”. As much as I LOVE what I’m doing, and have so much fun doing it, by the time I got home last night I was tired & a bit grumpy (okay, a lot grumpy) at the thought of getting up Monday morning at 6:45am. I’m excited that tonight I have no real plans… laundry, finishing all my unpacking & lounging in sweats are definitely on the agenda!
Regardless of how tired I was last night, I had the most AMAZING weekend!! My bestfrann’s birthday is tomorrow so I loved getting to spend the entire weekend having a slumber party at her house. I firmly believe I will NEVER get too old for slumber parties 🙂 We ate way.too.much, drank champagne & watched Princess Diaries. Talk about the perfect girl’s weekend. AND to make the whole weekend even better, Saturday I had a styled shoot with Katie Nesbitt Photography! I can’t even WAIT to share these fun & bright images with you!!! Katie was so much fun to work with, and I’m so glad some of my best friends acted as the models for this VDAY inspired shoot. It was fun to break away from a “wedding shoot” and do something super girly & DIY inspired. Plus, it was the first shoot I also designed the flowers for! The shoot will be featured on HLW the week of VDAY, along with some fun DIY projects I used to create the dĂ©cor… get excited!! 🙂 To hold you over, here’s a few Instragram pics of all the red, pink & gold fun!
xo! kat
