This is AMAZING!!! I am so excited to share this little secret with you, and SO PROUD of my friend Caitlin for bringing this to life!!!!
The Great Photo Escape: it’s not a workshop, it’s an adventure.
She and Natalie just spent three weeks on their #passportothepacific. I loved stalking the hashtag, follow their instagram accounts and seeing the AMAZING places they were able to visit. I was green with envy and told myself that one day I would get to see those things too.
See, sometimes I think we let our own fear rule our lives. We allow ourselves to think “well I’m not SUPPOSED to do that”… I’m supposed to work a 9-5, get great health insurance, cook 4 course meals for my husband and have a fabulous 401K. While none of those things are BAD things, they might not be what you’re called to be or do! They might not be what fires your heart up, what sets you apart, what makes you dream bigger!! Traveling is something so many of us long to do, but we never actually do it. We let the fear of the unknown push us away; we let the fears of “it’s not the right time” or “I don’t have the funds” or “I don’t know who would go with me” be our excuses to never get up and actually DO it.
Well, friends, Caitlin decided that enough is enough and she’s put together this AMAZING adventure!!!! An adventure that will take us around the world (literally!) for 10 DAYS to see new cities, meet new people, stand in awe of the beauty of God’s creation, and leave you feeling fired up and excited!!! It’s time to push those fears aside. It’s time to do the things you’ve always wanted.
I can’t WAIT to join 14 amazing people on this New Zealand adventure!! NEW ZEALAND, friends!! A styled shoot in NEW ZEALAND!! What?!?! Crazy dreams HAPPEN. YOU can make them happen.

Your travels have always made me so jealous (ha!), so my heart leapt with joy when you emailed me with this amazing dream!! Congrats, girl!!! It’s going to be epic.

Our trip was so incredibly LIFE CHANGING for me… And I can’t wait to do it all over again with a group of incredible people! This is going to be amazing! Truly the trip of a lifetime!

What a fantastic 2016 goal! I am keeping a close eye on this “Not a Workshop”! So exciting!
I can’t even begin to tell you how jealous I am!!! New Zealand is my favorite country in the WORLD. I spent nearly a month there back in 2010 with another group of photographers, and tried my HARDEST to make styled shoot happen, but… it just didn’t. Eeeeee!!!
