Dear Matt,

Today you turn 28 and instead of spending the day celebrating, we’ll be embarking on a 14+ hour plane ride home from Hawaii (but hey, we did just spend a week in the sun!)!

This past year has been unlike any other for us. You quit your full-time job as an elementary school PE teacher, and we jumped into this business full-time. We traveled all over the world to places like Japan, Cayman Islands , California and North Carolina. We were still grieving the loss of our first two pregnancies, and then found out about the miracle baby we’re currently expecting!

You constantly keep me laughing, and this year was no exception. Life with you just wouldn’t be near as much fun, and while I never in my wildest dreams thought we’d be a “good” husband-wife team, I think it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made!

I’m so thankful for you, Matt. Wishing you the happiest 28th birthday … while last year is hard to beat, I think we just might do it this year!:)
