5 years!!! It’s crazy to look back at the last 5 years of our marriage … and now look forward to what the next 5 will hold with Micah!!:)

Matt and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary early this year with combined anniversary / babymoon trip to Hawaii! It was AMAZING and I hope we make it back to the islands at some point!!! Today on our actual anniversary we’re taking things slow with our almost two month old (what?!), enjoying takeout and watching a movie at home!
It’s hard to believe all that has happened in the last 5 years. Between losing our first two pregnancies, Matt leaving his full-time job to work for the business, and welcoming Micah into our lives, there has been SO much change!! It could easily have ripped us apart, but I’m so grateful it’s done the opposite. We are closer than ever before; truly working together as one unit – one TEAM – and for that I am so, so thankful!!!! God knew exactly what he was doing when he brought Matt into my life; I can’t imagine doing life with anyone else!!!
To celebrate here on the blog, I thought I’d share our recent newborn / family session with Emily Gerald Photography! These pictures mean so, so much to me and there’s no one else I’d want to capture our first few weeks as a family of three!!!!
