Like everyone else out there, I’m sitting over here scratching my head and wondering how in the world 2017 is almost over.

There are so many things that happened (and didn’t happen) in 2017. Mountain top highs. Terribly low lows. And while I have a full 2017 recap post coming your way next week, today I thought I’d share something with you that would’ve changed it all:

 

Looking back on 2017, I would’ve done a few things differently; and I don’t want to make the same mistakes moving forward in 2018. Think of this as my “More _____, Less _____” list for 2018.

 

1. More movies on the couch with Matt… without my laptop.
2. Less time on the road, more time in my living room.
3. More systems, less crazy hustle.
4. Less self-doubt, more “go with your gut”.
5. More confidence in my body image, less “if only I was _____”.
6. Less time on Instagram, more time face-to-face.
7. More emojis, less forgetting to respond to texts.
8. Less “if I don’t do this right now my business will fail”, more patience in the journey.
9. More trust in Jesus, less “I’ll figure it out on my own”.
10. Less tears of stress/sorrow, more tears of joy.
